Thinking of changing wheels again. I always go back to the directional CCW Classics. These looked SO good on the Foxes and New Edges, and it is my all time favorite wheel. But I am having a hard time picturing them on an S550. Is anyone on here running them, or any other CCW wheel? If I don't go with CCW I most likely will go with Signature wheels.

I was highly disappointed in my forestars. They would chip so easily. Had about 5 chips on them when I got rid of the car & was only a weekend car.

Were your Forgestars D5 or D14?

CCW is a lot of money. I recently ordered a pair of Welds (CCW, Weld, Forgestar are under the same management group now) and the only way I could afford them was special pricing. I'd sure love to see some S550's with the CCW classics, but I don't think many exist.

Those are nice looking wheels, but from the sound of your experience with them, the coating is not very durable.
Yeah I was highly disappointed, the chip would always be white so they'd stand out even more. Especially for the price.

I hear you on that. While they’re not as expensive as Weld billet wheels, they’re still not cheap at roughly $3K plus with rubber.

D5's 18x9 front and 18x10 rear. They look and fit great and I looked a LONG time before pulling the trigger on them. I got these because they were very similar to a set of wheels I had on our 2006 GT and I was trying to emulate that look. Which they fit that bill perfectly. My wife thinks I need something different and that aren't everywhere. I have told her how expensive the CCW's are and even the Signature multi piece wheels and she is ok with me spending the money to get something different.

Thanks, I'm sticking with my OEM GT/CS wheels for now but love that look of chrome/polished with black. American Racing has a set of BossTT that are similar and don't break the bank 😀 I may go with those. I really wanted a set of Cragar SS or torque thrust but they don't make them for the S550 in 19". I also had an 06GT and loved the stock wheels.
