Add an air straighter. Where the tube slips together before the MAF sensor, get some window screen and wrap it around the tube so as for it to be flat across the tube opening. This should help. If it does buy or make a honey comb insert.
I still have the insert, is it the same if I put it back in? Also I was tuned with the insert out, does this affect anything?

I don't mind If the idle characteristic doesn't affect performance. I wanna know what causing this much power loss all of the sudden without CEL or codes.

I have no idea on the power loss, the screen will help idle especially if you use E85.

I'd need to see some logs to try to determine what is wrong.
The insert and tune will not bring back your power unless your current tune is corrupted.

The insert is out.
Do you have a tune for the insert being out?

If not it needs it and this would explain your power loss.

Does Steeda even give out their closed CAI transfer functions without using their in-house ECU tunes ?

Yes it was tuned for that. It was going strong for a year.

No but any competent tuner can figure it out. It is easy.

Here is what I would do.

I'd reflash the tune just in case something happened to it. Not likely but costs nothing.

Then it's on to checking things like compression pressure ect. If you are able to look at logs you can find things like false knock or bad sensors, if that is what is causing it.

"No turbulence due to placement of factory hood vents on 2018"
I just read this in steeda website for the CAI.

I have a different hood I installed last year does it make any issue with that? I didn't do any races after the new hood until a couple of months ago.

I was on 93 tune then e85 and now back on 93.

I'm about to do logs now.

The CAI the OP is using isn’t round at the MAF sensor area. I don’t see how it’s possible to properly calculate transfer functions without a calibrated flow bench.

Did you make any changes to the grill opening to the OEM bottom section of air box ?
