if you don't want rasp go h pipe. maybe h pipe and touring by borla or even corsa.
or deal with the sound level and go h pipe and roush. but if you have an x pipe youll rasp more then you would with h.
actually, look into MBRP street.
The borla touring comes with a resonator instead of an x or h pipe. It has very little rasp from my understanding.

I'll check out the Magnaflow, but maybe the H pipe resonator delete by Lethal is the way to go. That thing has got to go either way.
Not a bad option but the H pipe with stock mufflers really isnt loud enough for me.

I was suggesting the OP buy the touring axel back and add an H pipe.

FRXpipe and Roush is very loud. The muffler shop I use will put different set ups on your car to experience first hand.

If you find any shop that won't don't give them your hard earned money.

My sound requirements sound like yours...Im looking at
Borla Touring catback
MF Street catback
Steeda AB's
Bassani catback

Or a bit louder maybe
Corsa Street
ARH With H pipe

They seem to have the sounds Im after, I want deep, aggressive no rasp no drone....The Borla Touring is just in the lead atm :)

I have your answer...

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33260&page=3

I did a write up about it... read it and you will have no hesitation.

Sport catback
-lower in volume than Xtreme
-will not bother neighbors
-great for future header use
-amazing deep, exotic sound

Xtreme catback
-full exotic, no other exhaust like it
-aggressive tone
-volume when you want it, quiet when you need it
-if never getting headers, volume comprable to any other full system set up.

I dont see the point of that. The resonator that comes with the touring catback acts similar to an H pipe just quieter.
h pipe will always be less restrictive then a resonator. i personally have not heard anything with the resonator intact so i just recommend what i have heard. what works for one may not work for the other. thankfully we have options.

I have a Ford Racing X pipe I am selling, for about $125. You can start with that and see how that is for you. Free shipping. After that you can do an AB of your choice, save money and time.

exhaust is so hard to quote, just like everyone has smells that are appealing, and tastes that are, so do they have sound.

what is appealing for one person, may no be appealing to you.

we love the stainless works and arh systems. i think they have a great sound. we also really love the mbrp for the cost, and with the hpipe, so many options, i would just listen to as many videos as you can, and make a decision from there
