What's up people! I'm looking to wrap the roof and mirrors of my vehicle but can't decide whether I want to go satin or with a gloss wrap for it. Pics below of what I am working with. I have the gloss badges and as you all know, the grill and decklid panel are gloss but everything else is satin (which I could paint the window scoops gloss black or velocity blue to match the paint) and the wicker bill is satin, 5% tint..I'm leaning towards satin but am open for different opinions. Thanks! View attachment 474045

Which window scoops are those? Looks good from that angle.

For me, I'd probably go gloss because it goes well with the windows which are the nearest black.

For me I’d go gloss. Same as Nagare said with the quarter windows. Also it would go with the rear deck panel. I think it would match better.

Hi Leo and welcome.

I know we just had this conversation. :like:

My advice. Look at pictures of both. Then look at more pictures. Find something you love and do it. Good lucj with whatever you choose and do not forget to post picks.

Ps. I like satin for dark colors, gloss for light. :)

Will do and thank you for the links!

Thank you for your feedback. I just don't want any regrets later down the road lol

You have no guaranty that what you love today, you'll love a year from now. The stripes are vinyl. You don't like them, pull them off and do it again.

Ain't that the truth lol. Seems like every month or so I'm looking at changing or doing something different while trying not to do too much if you know what I mean.

Gloss... no doubt about it - looks better and will be easier to keep nice and clean.

Not Velocity, but here's a few of mine to show the gloss roof from different angles:

I also say gloss. I had my wicker bill wrapped gloss black to go with all the other gloss on the car. The satin spoiler didn't look right with everything else being gloss. Since then, I switched everything to satin and got rid of the wicker bill. Any good wrap shop should be able to wrap the spoiler and hide any seams. :like:
