Lund sent me a revised tune a while back and in that tune he had somehow fixed the issue. Not once has it happened.

this is what i wanted to hear! i just bought an nGuage and thermostat to use with flex fuel tune...and am thinking this might be a decent path to the beefcake special. but i wasn't going to purchase a whipple that has hesitation issues with the manual guys or the paxton with this long start issue.

I had the long start issue with my previous tune. Ken Bjonnes tune and no long start issues at all.

sometimes on the dead head systems, especially with e85, vapor can build up at the end of the rails and cause this issue

Im on good old 91 octane. The car has done this for me since the first lund tune on my procharged car. It was id100s without a bap. Later I added a bap and had lund send me revised tunes and it still does it. Making me crazy. I reached out to Jon to see if he had a fix for it yet.

Been having long start issues after my Paxton install and loading my Lund custom tune. I contacted Lund and he sent me a revised tune and I am still having issues. Seems to happen after the car has been sitting for longer than an hour after the car has been driven. I press the ignition button to pressurize the fuel system and then wait a second or two and then start it. All my current mods are listed below. Here is a link to a small video clip I recorded of it... Just seeing is anyone else is having an issue like this.

Really? That's interesting. Maybe I'll take mine into ford for a crank sensor relearn. Can I do that on my current tune?

Mine starts fine cold but every once in a while it kinda stumbles and starts and idle fluctuates a bit for a few seconds then runs perfect but only does it every once in a while

Oh? I wonder how/why that is.
I think before the crank sensor relearn was done it had the timing messed up. The car would hesitate, spit and sputter at part throttle, and spark knock at the initial startup... I sent Lund data logs to review. They said they doubted it was a crank relearn issue and came to the conclusion it was bad O2 sensors.. I have 2 ordered now. Went to the dealership yesterday to get a oil change and had them do the crank sensor relearn... Took less than 3 minutes to complete and the car has not missed a beat.. I think if Lund would of had the car in front of them, they would of figured it out..

Sometimes the problem is so simple a fix, that it gets dismissed or overlooked..
I think it is easier to start simple and work your way to the hardest..

Understanding what the sensor does makes it the easiest fix and the first place to look.
Crankshaft position sensor. A crank sensor is an electronic device used in an internal combustion engine to monitor the position or rotational speed of the crankshaft. This information is used by engine management systems to control the fuel injection or the ignition system timing and other engine parameters
