If u catch your nail in it, it will distort the glass. I've been doing glass for 15 years

What did you end up doing?I took delivery of the car 3 weeks ago and realized yesterday that there is a long scratch outside, at the bottom of my rear window.
The scratch is deep (My nail gets caught) and long (the entire trunk panel).
I have washed my car a handful of times but that was through a touch-less car wash. So I am ruling that out of the equation.
The scratch is also too precise and is only at the bottom part of the window that makes vandalism unlikely. The car is also parked in the garage at night and is only taken out when I get back from work or on the weekends.
How can this happen... Tint shop? Dealership? Factory? Can I get the dealership to fix this?
(Picture) You can't see it in the picture clearly but it runs along the entire bottom part of windshield... almost the exact same size of the trunk panel. The white spots at the very bottom is just water marks.
*** UPDATE ***
Ford gave me 2 options
1. A full window replacement along with tint.
2. A money back refund $400
I want to do the full window replacement but I'm concerned that the seal will be off and I will have problems later on.
What do you guys think?![]()
