Hi gang, this is my first post on this forum. I just ordered my GT 400A last weekend. My dealer (Hasset Ford) says it can take about 10 weeks before delivery of the car. Is that what the rest of you have experienced?

I've only spotted one 2015 Mustang on the road so far at the Hicksville LIRR station. Couldn't be any more beautiful!
Got my Ecoboost at Hasset. They said it was the first 2015 they delivered.

Alright guys have a bit of a dilemma. I was actually thinking about trading in the Ecoboost for the GT but it would be a base model, PP/Recaro Seats. Dont get me wrong the ecoboost is an awesome stang and I have been waiting for the Ford Racing Tune. I am missing the sound of a V8 but at the price of losing a premium features not so sure. How do you like the base car for those that have it and have you also experienced the premium? I have yet to test drive any GT model and only sat in a V6 for a minute. Appreciate the responses back thanks.

there's a few of us with base GTPPs here. since you have experience with your premium trim, you should be able to tell whether or not you'll miss the features by spending some time in a base GT, even if just at the dealer lot.

i've only sat inside a premium once at my dealership, and while the leather was nice, i don't feel like i'm missing out on much in my base GTPP, and i drive it 2 hours a day during the week. i wish i drove more actually... i was away on vacation for a while and all i wanted to do was get back home so i can drive it

Yea I know what you mean about driving it sparingly. I have had my Eco since beg of January and have 700 miles on it. Still nice to have the premium stuff. Great for a daily driver.

Good point I am going to check my local dealer and do that.

JB...mine was suppose to take 10 weeks but arrived in 8...I can only guess it really depends on the rail system.

ECO...I also have a GT PP base with Recaro's, and accept for the missing rear diffuser I really like the bare bones GT.
I'm sure it would be nice to have the 4 driving modes, extra interior lighting and little pony's shine on the ground at night, but we still can change the driving mode from normal to race by de-selecting traction control and or stability control.
Come down to Captree and I'll give you a ride, as you'll also hear the Ford Racing Sport Exhaust....:D

No doubt will do! I wont have another sunday off until late May but i can make it there from 6-7 am when nobody is there if you go that early on any sunday.

The rear diffusor is nice and I can not seem to find any aftermarket diffusors and only a stock rear magnetic bumber with the diffusor on ebay. Hopefully something comes out soon. That is an exhaust I want to hear in person!

the diffuser would be nice if it actually did something, but it's just for looks and is non functional.

Are the base modes one solid rear bumper? It looks like I can detach the rear diffusor on mine.
