"As for a recommendation, Chris @ Newins Bay Shore is great. I've dealt with him twice and he has been very good to me. Tell him "Frank" from Astoria sent you."

Thanks for the recommendation, went to Newins last night and spoke to Chris. Will be going back Thursday for a test drive.

Awesome, glad to hear it. I saw Chris this past weekend as I was out there for an oil change. They had a few GTs in stock from the looks of it but i'm sure he can find you whatever you want.

I am no rush so going to order a 2016. Just can't settle on a color.

Long islanders seem to really like black ecoboosts. In the past week saw 1 DIB GT 50 year, 1 CO EB, and like 6 black EBs.

It's a hard choice, i highly suggest you try seeing all of the colors you're considering in person before making a final decision. I still love magnetic, but WOW did white and silver look good in person once I finally saw them.

I have agree with this, I've seen. Mostly black ones, I saw one Ruby and 2 magnetics in the last month.

Hopefully by next week there will be another blue.
Oh by the way I ordered mine from Hempstead too. Different salesman though.

Make sure you tell them not to wash the car, mine was a swirl mark galore when I picked it up. Not sure if it was them or something during transport.

After taking a drive over to Levitown Ford for a refund on my deposit they honored my discount from my job on my factory order. Just waiting on the delivery and hope all goes smooth for my GT now.

what did i miss? were you trading up from the ecoboost, then changed your mind, then the dealer gave you a discount and are going on with it? if so, congrats!

The dealer gave me a good enough trade in value that I went in to try and get everything the same as my ecoboost. When it came down to the bottom line it was too much money so I compromised on a base PP Recaro GT. I later saw I have a discount program from work and they would not give me a discount since it was a "factory order" for me. After communication stopped for a few days I went in for a refund on my deposit and they decided to honor it. It was $1700 off MSRP so essentially another x plan. If they werent going to deal I was set on waiting a year make more payments and go with x plan again.

Still got to get through other detaila before it is finalized but I am sure it will be a smooth purchase.

The ecoboost is a great Mustang but since I can't wrap my head around the sound and just accept it I am trading back into a V8. Nothing replaces a V8 sound.

Thanks!:headbang:
