I bought a spoiler that requires 48in/lb. of torque but I also have read I should put loctite on it too. If I put loctite on it what should my torque rating be? It is the spolier that is factory on the Shelby GT500/GT350/Mach 1 hp.

Just put a bit of it and use the same torque. It won't affect the clamp resulting from the torque which is what's really important other than providing a bit of lubrication on the thread while you're tightening it.

I have the FP GT500/Mach spoiler, same as yours. Just a little dab of blue loctite is sufficient and don’t change torque. Been on for 9 months and no issues.

Honestly I think the loctite isn’t really necessary but it won’t hurt, especially if you’re planning to track the car. Just a little extra security.
