Don't all the GT's (and possibly eco) come with lock nuts? All the cars I've seen so far have them.
I think you may be right, or at least dealers are throwing them in. I oddly haven't actually checked neighbour's Mustang (have checked out others). Will do so tonight.

After reading my post again, I'm going to look pretty odd stealing the wheels off my own car in the basement of my building :doh:. Think I might have to take the car to my parents' place. Need to buy a real house soon!

According to Etis, my Mustang has:
* Non Locking Lug Nuts
* Locking Lug Nut Kit-Thatcham Whl

But I'm not sure what it means exactly

I guess you get 16 of the non-locking ones, and 4 of the locking ones.

That's what I'm hoping

For clarity of the above, I suspect the "All GT's get them" relates to the Aussie GT's that are very similar to the US/Canada Performance Pack GT's. Does anyone know if the locking nuts standard on the PP GT's? I guess this could also be an "early adopter" or regional bonus

Actually, my locking nuts were in a plastic pack, in the glove box. So 20 ordinary nuts on the wheels and 4 locking nuts with an adapter in the G box. I did tell the technician not to worry about putting them on the wheels. I put them on myself at home.

Yes, I guess they would have to give you the whole set of normal lug nuts.

Locking nuts. Spent Friday afternoon with my new-ish XR6T and an air chisel after socket and hammer trick absolutely showed no sign of working. All four were ridiculously tight. No wonder the adaptor/key snapped. Slipped a couple of times and now have some grazes/chips to deal with. My wife says I am mad to worry, but I NEED to get it fixed (one of the wheels also has a little of gutter rash that I planned to get fixed).

Anyone know a good allow wheel repairer/detailer on the Gold Coast?

Anyway, locking nuts and I are not friends. I put regular Ford nuts back on the 19" alloys.
