Line Lock

I wonder if anybody has tried disconnecting their battery for more than two minutes, because in my Chrysler 300c SRT8 if you do this it reboots the computer back to initial settings. If that's the case with Ford it may enable line lock.
I don't think I will use this function anyway as I grew up in the days when we could hardly afford tyres let alone burn the *h*t out of them.

Im pretty sure some Aussie Mustang shops are already offering to re-enable it for a fee. I personally don't care about the feature, Tyres and driveline costs far outweigh the "fun factor" of watching your $$$ go up in smoke

Mustang motorsports are *shock* actually quite reasonable and that's one of the reasons I am going with them! :cheers:

If it's just software, how hard could this even be? Might give it a crack, buuuuut... not gonna ever use line lock shenanigans. Not 18 years old anymore

I had my car in at CTB (NZ) had a axle back exhaust and heat extractors fitted. And they activated for me for free. I haven't used it might wait for the tyres to get lower....

If I want to do a standstill burnout, which these days is a very low priority, I won't need some silly linelock feature to do it. Especially with 400 odd bhp on tap.

*inb4 but it saves your driveline.......

Proscan software and a bt obd tool, cheap and easy takes about 10min, no way I would pay for someone to do it.

Correct. I wasn't intending to charge for it dude. Just don't want to broadcast it in case it effects warranty.
