Impressive numbers for a stock car with a tune and being on 87! Do you plan on updating the tune with 93 before ya add the intake? Any future plans for exhaust?

I have exhaust here waiting to go on

It will probably be tuned with the jlt and 87 again.

I have a print out. But I think Livernois will post a video and graph soon

I want to see the 93 tune numbers. 87 is a waste.

To you. Maybe not to others. But thank you for your helpful post. Any dynos in your area? Go get us some 93 numbers.

I think 93 is a waste. We have 94 in Michigan and that's all that really matters to me.

Or unleaded 116?

It was fresh off the lot. Isn't that what most people want to see? Livernois was bashed for putting higher octane gas in their ecoboost car.

That's what it made literally off the showroom floor. I think more people care about that.

When I go back, maybe if it has went through the first tank, I'll fill it with 94, then baseline and add the jlt. Will it be a waste because I didn't use the octane you wanted? No. Will others complain it wasn't with 110? Probably. Can't make everyone happy and Ill never even care enough to try, I'll always do what makes me happy. Your welcome I posted my numbers for future reference.

I guess waste was the wrong word. I don't use 87. I am interested in seeing the baseline 94 then with JLT.

thank you for the numbers! I have been running 87 in my GT. Saves a bit while I figure out if I want to do a tune/CAI or leave it as is.

I personally would love to see tune numbers comparing 87 and 93. If even tuned it's still 1% then I will stay on 87.

87 isn't what most (nearly all) people want to see because, most people who buy 87 over 93+ don't usually buy high horsepower cars because its condescending. go buy a prius if you want to save money on gas... That's why people want to see what numbers the car makes with 93 octane not 87. they will be putting 93 in it.. no one cares what the car makes with the fuel the factory puts in it. people want to know how much power it will make with the fuel that they will put in it. and lmfao no one is bashing livernois. at least no one worth a damn.

Jesus. Go do your own 93 octane pulls and post here for all to see.

Can't believe the grief this guy is getting for posting dyno results. The 87 octane pull is useful as OP said he is going to get another baseline with 94 - so we will what sort of power difference the higher octane makes. Thought I read ford said there was only a 1% hp diff between 87 and 93, we will see if this holds true.

btw, condescending doesn't mean what you think it means. For a good example of someone being condescending, you only need reread your post.

would it have made you feel better if i had just said hypocritical instead? we all knew what i meant. hes only getting what you think is grief because he thinks 93 is a waste.. which is kinda laughable. Just saying that makes you look like a hypocrite. Its like you're saying this. "I need to save money on gas so I buy 87 octane fuel. I also think 93 octane is useless so let me buy a performance car that gets bad mileage. Also i was never really giving him grief i was just countering his statement of most people wanting to see 87 octane runs. Im not here to bash people.

I have no idea what you were trying to convey with that sentence. And still don't; hypocritical does not make sense in that sentence either.

Regardless, getting all over a guy for posting dyno results simply because he used an octane you don't approve of, is absurd.

Did you actually read his posts? He thinks 93 is a waste because all he can get is 94 in his state - and that is what matters to him.

Look, I don't disagree that I'd like to see some 93 runs from actual owners. But there is value in seeing an 87 run and comparing it to the 94 run (if OP does that).
