Got the car back yesterday. No damage was caused by the spring breaking(according to the dealer/the machine shop they sent the head to for checking).
Hopefully no more issues.
I am still holding out hope it is something simple but I have resigned myself to it being very bad. I guess a rebuild would be worse than a new engine, Although neither is good in my opinion.
No odd noises besides sounding rough. Certainly not a metallic or grinding sound.
Has 5800 miles.
I am curious how the system can tell compression as well.
I had my GT towed in since it stalled on the highway and when restarted ran very rough(felt like multiple cylinders misfiring). They say the code is low compression on cylinder #1. I don't see any hits when I do a search but curious if anyone has any ideas? They say it will take a few days to...
I cross shopped the scat pack with my mustang. The scat pack was a bit more but it's hard to compare apples to apples. I will say the active exhaust on the 392 is hands down the best stock exhaust I have heard.
As others have mentioned modding on the 392 seems to be less than the Coyote. I...
that is my question as well. I saw another thread where someone said 10" was rubbing at full turn. I would like to run either a 285/295/305 square setup on either 10" or 11".
Is this something a tuner could disable? I usually start my car before I go and clean off the snow and it was pretty late at night. What a pain in the ass.
On my last car you needed to do it every few hundred miles if you drove the car like a street car.
So far the mustang has only done it once when it had been sitting a few days.
Mine squealed this morning. My previous car had this issue. It is common with high performance brakes. The fix on my old car was to go from 60 to 5mph as fast as you could a few times in a row.
I got mine in the beginning of November. I used to live in Woonsocket. I am down in Smithfield now. I drove down social street and saw a white '15 mustang. First one I have seen on the street.
