Little white particles everywhere..?

i have black leather on my GT. Twice now, out of nowhere there will be these tiny white particles all over the entire interior of my car! I mean a lot. I think it's coming from my A/C. My girlfriend was shocked when she saw it this last time. It's like my car has dandruff!

Anyone else having this problem or have any ideas?

Any assistance would be appreciated!

Most dust in your car and house are from dead skin and fibers from your clothing. If they are larger solid white flakes, it could be from the cabin air filter possibly coming apart.

It's definitely your deodorant falling from your armpits if you use the white non gel kind.

This was happening to me when I used to have a charger. Unfortunately took me months 2 figure it out lol.

Alright... Funny guys. I don't think you understand how much it is. It goes from perfectly clean interior, to white stuff everywhere. Not a chance in the world it's dust or dead skin. It's a problem that has to be fixed. The in-cabin filter might be faulty or something. You may be right kn7677.

I'm a little shocked no one else has this problem.

You might have your airbags checked, when they go off they cover they car in white powder, it may be way off but you never know...

Must be something environmental - could be pollen or some kind of ash. Were you recently parked in an industrial area?

OK, time for a serious response ;)

BMW owners have reported similar in the past and it was down to the air-con unit lining breaking down.

Might be worth putting something over one of your dash vents to see if you can collect the particles. This should prove (or disprove!) if it is coming from the vents

Thanks Twin Turbo! That's sounds all too similar to what I'm experiencing. I'm gonna confirm its the a/c like you said.

I guess if this is the ONLY issue from my 6 month old ride, I feel kinda lucky.
