To preface, I am not sure if it is in the manual but I did not see it noted. I tried using line lock for the first time in my 6M GT this morning. Lit the tires up no problem but I did leave traction control on. After like 2 or 3 seconds it cut power and basically forced it down to an idle, I thought it was gonna die. Do I need to turn TC off or am I missing something? All the line lock videos I have seen, I never saw it mentioned that TC must be off. The more I think about it, the more I think it must be off, and I am just an idiot. Just want to confirm! lol

When you're in track mode the TC should be off anyway unless you turned it back on. That's never happened to me. Just put it in track and don't touch any other switches. I've also turned ASC off so if it gets squirly it won't try to correct you. That could have been as well if it started getting sideways.

Nah it didn't really start getting sideways. I have a base GT so no driving modes like the premium does. Unless it automatically is turned off when using line lock?

Hold the traction control button down for about 5 sec. It will turn off the stability control or push the button twice quick and it will put it in sport mode.

when ever i used the line lock as soon as you would let it go it would pull power. Like if your trying to do a rolling burnout, it wont let you.

Mine will only engage on level ground, I've tried to do it on a hill and slight inclines, it will not intial unless level. Yes to tc off if no mods are avail.
