Alrighty, Thanks!

PS: Do you know by any chance what value he touched in the ABS module?
It literally asks him what options he wants and its as simple as enableing or dissabling it . But the cluster needs it turned on as well as abs module needs to be programmed. If he really knows how to use ids it will be a breeze

It does seems simple lol. Basically he just unplugged the ABS and plugged it back in. Reprogrammed it with the IDS and IDS just asked him what option he wanted...? I might buy the IDS for myself :) It's been a while I wanted to invest on a VCM/IDS:D

It shouldn't be a problem... I used to work for Ford and I might pay a visit to an old friend :D:ninja: Do you know what Version of IDS did he use? V96/97/100.01?

If IDS can enable this, then FORScan can as well. I know how to enable it in the IPC, but the ABS module seems to be the place I'm running into issues. I have a feeling the issue lies somewhere in a code that tells it the car is an EB instead of a GT, and probably something that was changed when your ABS module was re-flashed.

Would be curious to see your as-built settings now after having it re-flashed to enable it.

Dont think forscan can turn it on and definitley cannot reprogram a module. It can back up data and program that . You cannot use someone elses data to program another car because the vins wouldnt match

I dont use forscan, suppose anything is possible. But the bottom line here is you dont need to buy anything to get it to work , just simply get it reprogrammed rather joe blow does it or ford.

My dealer is supposed to call me back tomorrow to give me an idea of what it will cost and after the tech reads about reprogramming it with line lock.

Bluetooth here! I have tried to enable line lock with forscan and it will give you the options to enable line lock in both the ABS and IPC without having to manually enter data. The problem is that the ABS module will throw an advanced trac error when line lock is enabled. So now I am wondering if simply pulling the module connector after it is enabled to allow the module to reset is the key!

You can turn it on all day long but without fords ids you can not reprogram the module to reconfigure it. You can try and unplug it to reset it and see if it takes the reconfigure ?
