Welcome and congrats! Let me guess, is this VIN 1501 or 1356? Would love to add your chassis # to the spreadsheet.I'm down in the San Diego area and got L0142 from a dealer in Oregon. $1k over MSRP
Ha! Yup. 1356 it is.Welcome and congrats! Let me guess, is this VIN 1501 or 1356? Would love to add your chassis # to the spreadsheet.
Thanks for the clarification, it makes sense now. I didn't know the Heritage Edition chassis numbers were being differentiated. That is good newsThe HEP cars have their own chassis numbers, although confusingly they don't have a different code to the non-HEP cars, only a different color What this means is that L0118 on a HEP car is the 118th HEP GT350 made. On a non-HEP car, it's the 118th non-HEP 2020 GT350 made.
Same with the R models: LR118 on a HEP R is the 118th HEP GT350R made and LR118 on a non-HEP GT350R is the 118th non-HEP 2020 GT350R made.
Hope this helps.
Ben
Haha yeah see I told you, 8 always has its way of showing up with me. Even the street number of my place is 4108 lol. 8 manages to creep in my life wherever it can.You posted this and it was your 188th post, I hit the like and made the Reaction Score go to 68... you do have eights following you around...!
Oh, and thanks for your Service.
Yea I agree it was a somewhat odd decision, but I also get why they did it. They wanted the HEP to feel like more than just a paint job and they already had a system for the number/letter combination. Look at it this way, if you have a 2020, your car has a twin somewhereSo a HEP and a non-HEP can have the same chassis number? That doesn't make sense to me.
Are there any examples of that on the forums here? Two 2020's with the same chassis number?Yea I agree it was a somewhat odd decision, but I also get why they did it. My buddy's 20R in IS = LR082Are there any examples of that on the forums here? Two 2020's with the same chassis number?
The only one I see in the spreadsheet is LR083. But searching the forum I only find the owner of the Non-HEP saying that is his chassis number. I can't find anyone on the forum saying they have a HEP with that chassis number.
Congrats, I tried Oregon a few months ago but was met with 10 over sticker being the minimum. Ended up biting the bullet and putting a deposit on 1586 in FL (2k over). Now to wait for the car to hurry up and arrive!I'm down in the San Diego area and got L0142 from a dealer in Oregon. $1k over MSRP
