Since I unplugged my lights to remove the bumper, I noticed my lights are always on when the ignition is on. My lights are normally left on auto but even when switched off these stay on. I can't work out if that's normal, I've broken them or I've been button bashing on the dash

Search the forum for the Forscan code to term them back into foglights properly
So you don’t look like a twat driving round all the time with fogs on. Fingers crossed post brexit they can ban this sort of pan European madness which has resulted in previously illegal brightness levels this far north.

they're the DRLs they should always be on if in AUto or mode 1 (off) so basically, always on unless headlights are on. I guess last time your bumper was on they were never connected properly and never came on?

I was half way home before I realised Ford had turned my lights off, so that's a possibility lol

I always have my main headlights on as don't think they good with just the DRL

Me too, the number of times I've witnessed somebody driving on a rainy / foggy motorway with only the front DRL's on, oblivious to the fact they haven't a single rear bulb showing. Driving with both front and rear lights illuminated is so much safer. One of the good things about the 6G Mustang's is that they kill the lights when ignition off, unless side lights selected. A feature I like.
