Can someone recommend a light polisher? Want to do a light polishing on my brand new CO after I clay it and prior to putting the rejex sealant. Thanks

I've got one of these as well. They're pretty cheap and you'd REALLY have to work at it to damage your paint with it.Get a Griots 6, good power and lifetime warranty.
I know what you are saying. When I washed my car last, I noticed some very light swirls, nothing crazy, but that's the first thing I thought. I should have told the dealer not to wash it. I did tell them to remove that stupid "Koons" dealer sticker though. But yes, I got those premium towels from CG as well. I think I will go ahead and the that random orbital. it might be worth the investment and time :cheers:Even though the paint is new, you could have deeper swirls than you think. Did you instruct the dealer not to clean it for you?
Up to you, and what you feel you need. IMHO, get a decent flashlight got swirl finding, buy the towels with out edging on it. The edging it another source to create swirls.
Have fun detailing it. That's one of the things I enjoy a lot! You also get to know your car that way! One thing you might do, if you google new car prep, or new car paint, you can find some great material to read and videos to watch about preparing news cars. Enjoy your long weekend.
Ha...I happened to be standing there when some guy walked over to my GT with the sticker in hand to apply it. I said "Excuse me" and when he turned around to see what I wanted, I took it out of his hand, crumpled it up, and said "No thanks."I know what you are saying. Isn't that the truth! Holy cow, it pulls every spec of dust out of the air like a magnet!Anyone have a way to stop the static electricity on the black plastic between the tail lights every time I drive my car it gets dusty as all get out.
Not much you can do about it. You could TRY waxing it or perhaps shooting it with a coat of some super smooth clear coat (and then waxing it).Isn't that the truth! Holy cow, it pulls every spec of dust out of the air like a magnet!
Its funny bc i requested this and they did it anyway. Silicone junk on the wheels i need to scrape off and got some white wax on the black plastics. There was one spot i wanted them to look at and they brought out their "detailing guy" to figure out if it was in the paint or clesr coat he decided to use compound on it with a dirt rag. Instantly put scratches in the paint. Im so pissed i dont like to think about it. The dealer would do nothing for me bc i took a few weeks to make the 2 hour trip to them.Even though the paint is new, you could have deeper swirls than you think.
