Correct. All 2005+ mustang GT's and GT500's use the same style connection and clamps where the mid pipe meets the overaxle pipes.Jason - thanks for the info. So the 2005+ Mustangs use these clamps on stock exhaust that only has the tubes butted together instead of slipped into each other?
I know the same clamps you guys supply with your H or X pipes look the same as the ones used on the front end of the stock resonator, but the pipes slip together at that connection.
I just want a solid leak tight connection ... and not have to fight it much to make the exhaust tips come out even with each other and aligned with the rear fascia cut-outs. But sounds like the guys who chimed in here had good installation results, so that answers some of my concern.
The connection is the same on the 2015's where the cat pipes meet the resonator. The pipes don't ever overlap. They use a band clamp to mate the same diameter piping together.
Slap that thing on the car and gets some vids already!! :cheers::cheers:
