Hi everyone! I've been experiencing a weird issue with the left headlight. So upon turning on it stays on for about 0.5 seconds then turns off. Everything else is working fine, there's no error light on the dash or anything. It's clear that it works since it illuminates but won't stay on. Anyone experience similar issues or have any advice as to what might be the cause? Thanks.

Sounds like a bad head light, driver, assembly, bulb works, circuit over loads, cuts power .

Yea sounds like either the ballast to it has a fault or there could be a BCM issue too.

Not many threads about headlight issues. Try wiggling any harnesses going to the headlight assembly and make sure any connector plugs are pushed together tight. Look for any signs of damages to wires, rodents love eating wiring.

There's quite a few threads on here about some M6G members having rear taillight failures due to bad BCM's or boards within the tail assembly. Some of the minor taillight nuances have also been solved by disconnecting the battery and then reconnecting - not sure if that would work for a headlight or not.
