Leather Steering Wheel on 2023 Mach1

Has anyone had this happen to their leather steering wheel?

You scuffed it on your pocket knife clip when getting in or out of the car.

It started in 2 different places and it started in 3 other spots around the wheel.

Like I said, I believe you scuff the wheel on something around your belt or pants. had this exact same pattern on my Truck steering wheel, and realized I was doing the same thing.

Could possibly be, but my 2019 bullitt doesn’t have any similar wear. Since ford won’t replace it, where can I get the best price for a direct replacement?

Most likely one of the Ford parts online , Levittown Ford posts here on the Forum try there you might get a discount, I would call .

Wedding band? That's how it happened on a different car of mine. When turning a corner and letting the steering wheel free spin when straightening out it lightly snagged the leather.

As to how it happened i have no idea.

But someone skilled with those vinyl touch up kits could fix that up for you. Involves sanding and using a filler etc. Kinda cool.
