Chrome on steering wheel peeling covered?

I just got a 2017 GT PP CPO car with 1 year and 14K mile left on the bumper to bumper warranty. I just noticed the that chrome at the top back of the steering wheel is lifting, peeling away. Would that be covered under warranty? I just took it in for some we owe's they needed to sort out and I mentioned this to the service writer.

Should be covered. FYI my auto gearshift lever chrome split and became like a razor blade...(15)

My dealer to care of it...and a cracked tail light and a cracked windshield. Whoever signed off on the CPO inspection of my car should be fired...lol!
