Because most local LE cars are generally kept under wraps beneath their transport covers or picked-up immediately by their owners, little information is available about any additional items unique to the limited edition cars that should be included when taking delivery.

Many outlets previously reported a leather-bound owner's manual which doesn't seem to have made it to the production car. Otherwise, very little official information is available. Such accessories are sometimes shipped in dunnage kits in the trunk or shipped separately to the dealer to avoid their loss or theft in transit.

About the only additional item I've seen beyond the transport cover is a signed numbered picture of the (a) limited edition car at Flat Rock. Can anybody attest to receiving any other items, for example an owner's kit akin to the BOSS 302, which were included with their cars at delivery?

The owners welcome kit will be sent to the dealers. There was a kit in the trunk with the Nav SD card, wheel locks, mats, owners manual, and other regular paper work.

I had previously read (I think) that the Welcome Kit would be mailed directly to the owners. If it is being sent to the dealers, why wouldn't Ford have just included it with the car when shipped?

There is one of the mysteries surrounding the car. I'm not sure what division is handling the welcome packages. Maybe they are waiting until all of the cars are assigned/built? I'll check the note about it when I get home today about where it is shipping.

If it's the dealership, then maybe it's a Track Key that needs programing to the vehicle-->

Thanks to all for the input. I added a Limited Edition owner's kit to the dealer's "we owe" sheet, just in case it gets delivered through the dealer.

Just want to add two things here.
1. The backs of the seats are definitely cooled. It's up high (from me) between my shoulder blades and neck, so I definitely think it's poorly placed. I think it should be much lower even for taller guys but the point is, it is, in fact, heated and cooled on the back of the seat. (maybe the wrong thread for that lol)
2. More importantly, the LE's do seem to have the "cross traffic alert?". I'm not sure what to call this. Basically the thing that caused nipples  to be on the back of some of the GTs. I may be late on this but on the B&P I can't get those nipples to appear again. With that being said I think ford successfully integrated the "cross-traffic alert?" into the bumpers seamlessly (on all those with it). With that being said, my LE definitely gave me a notification of an on coming car when in reverse today. I managed to recreate it to give you guys a pic:

It only works on moving vehicles it seems, too (as stated previously by ford). Parked cars in a parking lot won't set it off so it was pretty tough to find a safe scenario to recreate it and be able to snap a picture fast enough so forgive the quality.

Bliss cross traffic is built into the mirrors. The nipples are back up sensors for parking lots.

Yes I know. I deliberately didn't say bliss because that back up feature that I posted, is not part of bliss. In the B&P it used to part of another package i believe but you can't add it separately any more and like I posted, it appears to be part of the BLISS package now and also on the LEs.

Right. I believe that is still part of Bliss. It probably has a sensor behind a reflector.

could be. but either way the point being we were previously told we wouldnt have that feature but we do. and without the penalty of the bumper nipples.
