Anyone know when launch control surrenders command of the throttle back? Is it when you let go of the clutch completely, start to release the clutch, or when it senses engine load? Im thinking of going half throttle to launch at a preset rpm and modulating right at the bite point to minimize bogging. Also, can anyone tell me what exactly the Mach 1 kit is? Thanks.

I can't help you with your question sorry but (trying not to be an arse), do you know that the 1.86 / 1.79 g meter readings shown in your avatar are something to do with the factory installation / calibration / testing, rather than something you have personally achieved ?

As a side note and back on topic, I can't say I really hear anything good about the factory launch control, I think that most people who are into traffic light grand prixs, prefer to control it manually :like:

If my pedal isn't to the floor the launch control will not kick in. It basically holds the RPMs where you set it then when you "dump" the clutch traction control does what it can to keep the tires from spinning. I can launch much harder and faster without launch control but launch control is entertaining for passengers.

Bear in mind that the 5K rpm limit of the factory LC may not be enough to avoid bogging (especially when coupled with a sticky tire). The only way to give yourself more adjustability with launch rpm is to add an N2MB WOT Box.
