Nope - beyond stating that in general a group of 500 or 1,000 higher VINs will be built later than a similar group of VINs built 2 or 3 months ago. Only the Chassis Nos. are sequential, so the guy with the highest Chassis No. "wins." You could have a VIN hundreds lower than the next guy - but still have a higher Chassis No. Ford did this on purpose to prevent VIN wars as a way of establishing value. (E.G., "My car has a lower VIN than yours, so it's worth more.")Seems to be some relation to build
Month as stated.

Definitely coincidental - my 3 was built in February. And what about the gaps in the VINs? If Ford is building 5,000 GT 350s and 500 Rs, why are there cars being scheduled in the 6,000s? :shrug:Makes sense. I was referring to the 4 maybe being for April and the 5 for May. Probably just coincidental..and what do they do with the 1000th one? Guess that doesn't add up.
IDK. I've been in the wait-n-see camp as far as actual production numbers goes. That information is above the pay-grade of anyone I've heard guess at it previously.Definitely coincidental - my 3 was built in February. And what about the gaps in the VINs?
