Update for me... My local dealer located me a 19 R and we settled under MSRP with them trailering it up from the other dealer. Super happy- good luck to anyone else searching!

Sounds like a great deal and good luck with the transportation of your new R model as have been down that road before therefore lots of variables with respect to again transporting these cars after the rail was already involved and then final leg delivery with a road transporter and now another road transporter involved but what does that have to do with being able to order a 2020 GT350 at this time?

All inbound cars show up in the dealers inventory. It was probably custom ordered by someone. No games going on

Well I’ll just shut my mouth I guess, I was trying to order a 20 R and said I’d provide an update earlier in this thread..so I did.....

Hopefully it all works out. Again good luck to OP getting an order in.

Thank you all for your feedback, advice and going out of your way to help a fellow enthusiast. My friend has now found a local dealer willing to deal on an R (Heritage Edition!) with no ADM. He's in discussions with them at the moment, including trading his '17 GT. I'm excited for him and really hope it all works out. If/when he gets it, I'll be sure to post photos and details here.

I live in Austin TX and had a deposit down on and upcoming GT350 allocation to order a Heritage Edition. Given the current situation, and their inability to answer any questions about further production after the plant shut down on 19 March I decided to buy one from a dealer in KS. Got a good deal - $1000 over invoice. Had to pay $700 for enclosed trailer shipping but in the end it was all worth it to get chassis #15 and guarantee getting one before the ADMs and other BS hit.

A good friend of mine is looking to potentially order a GT350. A couple of questions, if I may:

1 - Does anyone know when the last date to order one will be?
2 - Does he need to find a dealer with an allocation? (he's contacted the dealer he bought his '17 GT from, but had no response)

As of March 6,2020 it still wasn't built yet.I got tired of waiting and found the exact car I had ordered sitting on James Ford lot
Yep bought it
He had 5 on his lot
Kona Blue white stripes is still there it's loaded

How was James Ford to deal with? The Mrs and I were going to fly up there until the whole world went nuts.
I’ve been keeping an eye on their inventory then suddenly, boom there almost gone.
