I bought a set of these carbon fibre paddle shifters from CJ Pony for my Mustang. The existing paddles are very small, height wise, and I occasionally get the +paddle caught up with the turn indicator stalk, plus I like my hands a bit higher on the steering wheel. They glue on the back of the existing paddles.

Yep glue or some good 3M tape seems to be the way to go, I have a set on the way as well!!

US$142.00, Peter. You can get the same thing in aluminium for US$71. I just liked the idea of carbon fibre :)
Ian.
PS: Will photograph.

I considered these, nearly put them in my recent CJPP order, but seemed like a lot of money for something that may be a bit awkward - glued on the back.

Initially I thought they'd be a full replacement that could replace the whole piece and would need a steering wheel removal.

Please give us a review once they get here! :)

They glue around the back, Scott, so that the tops are in the same plane as the original paddles.

I installed them this weekend and have to say WOW !!! :eyebulge:

They have a really good feeling and now it's really playful to change the gears :headbang:

I went for the Red ones to have a color touch on the steering wheel :)

yeah I have the silver ones and am a big fan of them. They feel great and look good. I also have the redline bonnet struts fitted, and can say they are a top product )

Eric, what did you use to stick your new paddles on with? I have various thoughts but I am interested in yours. Did you have any clearance problems between the Redline struts and the bonnet hinges?
Ian.

Hi Ian I used double sided tape for the paddles. No clearance issues at all on the bonnet struts. They went on perfectly

Just received my CF paddle shifters from CJ Pony.
Is it just me or do they look different?
