That's the difference between an amateur carbon job and a pro carbon job

They are meant to be the same.
Pic on the left is what CJ Pony advertised and the one on the right is what they supplied.
I contacted them and I was informed that the actual product is what they supplied.
I see that they have now replaced that incorrect picture to the current correct picture.

In the original picture, they took it at an angle from below instead of square on from above. It had the effect of shortening the paddles and making them rounder. My carbon fibre paddles look just like yours. I haven't fitted mine yet but I intend to used gel super glue which will allow the carbon fibre paddle to fit snuggly over the factory paddle.

Nah mate, that picture they advertised earlier was not the same ones that they supplied. They are similar but not the same.
They admitted that after I sent them an email. Hence they now have the correct picture updated.

I stuck my carbon fibre paddles on using Locktite 3G Power Easy Gel which is a super glue that gives you a few extra seconds to attach the paddles and move them around a bit. They attached rather solidly.

That's not good enough - doesn't look anything like what you ordered.

Interested to know whether the flappy paddle shifters work well, whether you use them often or just now and then.

The new ones are much easier to use than the smaller, original factory paddles. I find that as I get used to a new car with paddles, I tend to use them more often. If I am feeling lazy I just leave the transmission in full automatic.
Ian.
