A suggestion, don't know what 2.0 is like, but I have your original start button. Can you raise the opening a bit, maybe make the whole cover a little taller to give more of a opening to get your finger in? I have thick fingers so I have a hard time getting the tip of my finger in to flip it open.

look like it might be about 100 times better than the old ones if it actually looks like a natural part of the car by doing it that way

Prototype in and installed!! Needs a few tweaks to make the pivot a bit more stiff. It is raised over the OEM surface in this picture due to the 3m foam tape. If I had used thinner tape or even glued the base on this would be (nearly) flush. (can't get it 100% flush because there is not enough thickness there to do so while maintaining a strong enough pivot)

What do you guys think?

In these pictures the base is held in place with two small dabs of high temp hot glue on either side. Strong enough for daily usage while still being removable! It also allows the base to sit much more flush with the OEM surfaces.

I like it:thumbsup:

Have you thought about putting a mustang logo on it.

Something to match this....

It would look great in my white vert...:D

I have!!

Shapeways will allow you to customize your own start button cover! (basically custom engraving for your own cover) all I need to do is design the base cover and then any image uploaded to shapeways could become an engraving!

Much better than version 1. Someone had an "ah hah" moment.
Haha you could say that. Just was looking at the bezel on my desk one day and thought that the area between the button and rib was very empty... Then started the process of redesign.

That's a new one...! I would say try it again as I just went through the process and it seems to be fine.

For those looking for conformation.... It does indeed fit a premium bezel. This is a one size fits all part!
