Except anything drivetrain related....which is where people really want the warranty to remain intact.
Exactly !!

for the record. stage 1 =warranty. stage 2 upgrade you lose powertrain warranty but still have parts warranty on the all the stuff with the blower and the blower itself.

smart thing to do is just get stage 1 with the warranty and after the car has broken in and not blown up...upgrade to 2 down the road.

Uhm...what? LOL can I get an English translation!

If you only have a 3 yr warranty on the SC then it's not a great deal as Ford will probably laugh in your face if you come to them with an engine or trans problem.
I thought I was speaking English. Let me clarify. Powertrain is not covered by Ford. Everything else is.

well they selling them like hotcakes... no one murdered yet at a C&C!

smarter thing to do is get a whipple but obviously can't finance it then but at least you can resale the whipple unlike the roush because the block got grinded down.
I can still sell the Roush. Grinding the block affects nothing. The car can be put back to stock.

Base GT with a supercharger, broiest-bro-stang out there. If any of these sell they'll end up totaled within weeks.

Perfect cars & coffee Mustang.

The more I learn about the 727 horsepower GT, the more I consider it to be the best deal for a performance fan this year. I just saw a 2016 Camaro SS with a 6.2 liter that had a sticker price of 46698.00 dollars. Now 727 horsepower for 40000 dollars sounds like a better deal to me.

possible to do it cheaper AND get the warranty!

http://jalopnik.com/how-to-get-a-727-hp-ford-mustang-for-even-cheaper-than-1775799271

I emailed the dealer about the prices and here is what I got back:

Hello Lucas,

Thank you for your interest in our ROUSH Supercharged GT! The response to this promotion has been absolutely amazing as we are shipping them all over the United States!

The 727 HP phase II is a base model Mustang GT with cloth seats and a manual transmission. The Phase I tune (670 HP) is the same price as the Phase II tune: the difference is that the Phase II tune has a parts only warranty and the Phase I tune has a 36 month 36,000 mile parts and labor warranty.

Here are some of our most popular upgrades: Premium Package, cost is $3,995. The Roush cat-back exhaust system is $1,087 installed, and the Ford Racing exhaust is $1,740 installed with dual black tips, or $1,680 with the dual chrome tips. The Roush Axle-back system is only $667 installed. To upgrade to the 401a package is $1,674. If you want an automatic transmission, add $1,195. If you want a convertible, add $5,995.

Are there any specific questions I can answer for you?

Also, are you considering trading something in with us?

Thanks so much for contacting us and we look forward in helping build your 727HP DREAM MACHINE!!

truth be told if i could go back in time, i prolly would have bought through lebanon in a way...

The MSRP of my fully loaded GTPP Vert was 50k. the deal through my dealership out the door was 45k fully financed, all paperwork, etc. As part of the deal they installed the FRPP Touring catback and the FRPP Street Lowering Springs and installed my SVE wheels. Grand total parts and labor OTD then was 48k. Still 2k less than MSRP.

we briefly talked about the above mods and a Roush blower and the blower + install tacked on like 9500 to the cost of the car, so i said eff it and did what I did.

A few months later with my own money I basically have my own self-built Roush RS2 with different wheels and suspension and shifter upgrades, etc. and i'm only really like 5k into it v.s. the 11k for a Roush RS2, but still that blower is going to cost me when the time comes. But regardless, I'll still be well under the 22k roush charges for an RS3

Lebanon still has a smokin' deal and I probably could have gotten everything i wanted OTD plus the blower for under 60k.

What they are offering is a good deal, but I still suspect a great many buyers do not fully understand the warranty implications.

What they are installing is the Phase I & buying the Roush 3/36 extended warranty which covers all the Roush bits + the bits Ford is going to drop coverage on because you modded the car. You can read here in detail what Roush is covering (and the $ limits that apply):
http://www.roushperformance.com/pdf/2015-Optional-Limited-Powertrain-Warranty-Upgrade-12-17-15.pdf

The way they can offer a Phase II install for the same $$ is due to them dropping the extended warranty (since Roush will not honor it if you go Phase II), shaving $995 off the cost. That leaves you with 3/36 coverage on the Roush bits, but ZERO coverage on all the other powertrain bits Ford is going to drop.

IF you're OK with walking away from your 3/36 powertrain warranty to gain 57hp, then the Phase II deal is for you

1000 in shipping, or driving across the country makes me think about having it done locally when the time comes. It's a no brainer if you live fairly close to them.

There is a LOT to be said about having it done locally. You would want to be sure there was a Roush/Ford dealer close by before ordering one of these. No regular Ford dealer is going to touch it (for warranty work), nor would you want them to if they are not familiar with the s/c.

And not all Roush/Ford dealers are cut from the same cloth as I found out with my local dealer who basically was not interested in installing the s/c for me (or ordering a Roush S3 car - go figure) & bailed on service as well telling me I needed to take it back to the dealer who did the work. So, I'm stuck driving 70 miles each way to get service instead of 6 miles because the local dealer is a POS.

I would also have nightmares about whoever is delivering a brand new hipo stang not being able to resist taking it for a spin or two dozen...between PA and NM.

Interesting since supposedly you can only get the warranty if it's installed by a Roush certified shop anyways.

And the last thing @Kyle@ROUSH said when they released the Stage 2 is that it did NOT have a warranty available.

So if your buddy has that warranty I hope he has it in writing.
As of right now, thats false. There is no warranty offered on phase 2, even if we installed it here in house.

With that, last i heard thats something still being reviewed. So as of now, no there isnt a warranty, but dont be shocked if you see one in the near(ish) future.

I dont have too many details at the moment as i dont deal in those things as closely as i had before. I just try to catch up with you guys weekly or so.

If you hear something and question it call us, dont assume what the dealer says is always gospel, we can answer your questions.
