Sounds like a great goal, I am curious to see how it pans out for you. How do you plan on mating it to your x pipe? Why not just get the catted headers? Sounds like extra work.

I've been saving for the Whipple, now I am just trying to get all my ducks in a row. I would love to install it myself but I just don't have the place to do it, so I am looking into who can do it for me and not charge me an arm and a leg. I've been told to check with Stang Hi Performance in Baton Rouge. I go to DV8 down here, so I am going to check with them too.
Not sure if you've made your decision already but I can vouch for Stang Hi. I've had literally all my mods done by them and it's been nothing but great experiences. Going back there when I get back in town for about 5 more mods.

I have not made a decision yet. I really want the Whipple though and they want and arm and a leg to install it so I don't know yet. The Roush seems like a good deal, I just want more horsepower out of it.

Gotcha. Yeah that's understandable and I can relate. I thought the same when I first started my mods. Seemed like everyone referred me there and had nothing but great things to say about the shop and Cody, so I just took a chance.

I live in an apartment complex though and I'm pretty limited in terms of tools, knowledge, and space and didn't want to bounce shop to shop for mods lol.

I'm going with the Roush one in a couple of months. Hoping for beginning of October or late September.

I live in an apartment complex as well and while I have a garage, I have nowhere to put anything. I usually do the majority of my mods that don't require a lift, but I am not a huge gear head and I definitely need instructions when doing things lol I use DV8 in NOLA on Airline Hwy for stuff I need done. Good shop and fair pricing, not to mention a ten minute drive from my house. I may use Stang-Hi or Bergeron. First I have to decide which blower to get. My plans are to have one on by April, if I don't end up moving out of state, which is a possibility due to my coming up on the end of my contract (military).

Finally got my sportlines installed today. Next up is finishing the exhaust, then either wheels or longtubes.

Any pics of the springs? What's the drop? I am extremely nervous about dropping here. Where in NOLA are you, just curious?

The drop is claimed to be 1.5" in the front and 1.3" in the rear but I have 2 10" subs so I'm at 1.5" all around. My old civic was on coilovers and had about a key fob worth of ride height but I was able to get around most of new orleans. Just had to be careful. With the sportlines, I still have plenty of ride height. I just bought a house in metairie.

The only picture I got after finishing.

I have the CDC Outlaw chin on it, which has lowered the front ever so slightly. Did you install the springs yourself or go to a shop? I got my exhaust work done at DV8 and when I mentioned dropping, they basically scoffed at me. I was thinking of going with BMR since the drop isn't too aggressive.

My eibach Pro is the perfect ride height. I never bottom out, rides great, and looks bitchin.

Which wheels did you say you are getting and what headers?

Forgestar cf5v in bronze burst. 19x10/11 wrapped in 275/305 Nitto NT05 tires.

Same color/wheel with a less aggressive offset.

Headers are the Stainless Power 1 7/8" primary, catted headers with 3" connections.

Also having my MGW shifter and the remainder of the suspension installed.

I lowered it myself in my driveway on jack stands, it took roughly 4.5 hours.

Just spent most of the day at Bergeron's Performance wrenching on the truck.

I'm really starting to like this shop. Everything I've seen that they've put out so far is top notch.
