Kooks makes nice stuff. I would get the H pipe and go with quiet-ish mufflers, because it's going to be a lot louder when you switch from the factory manifolds and resonator
I already have an h pipe. Green cats worth the extra dough for a boosted car or are the standard high flows good enough?

I was wondering about the shape and price, and now it makes more sense. It's meant to hook up their headers.

It's just 304 stainless steel tubing, nothing complicated or special about it. In comparison, Speed Engineering long tube headers ($450) fit fine on my son's GT and their entire mid-pipe X-pipe, shown below ($250,) is no different in quality over the expensive Corsa double X pipe we removed. 2M fabrications in another cheap source.

If you get headers you need the H/X pipe from the header company. I have the Kooks high flows on mine and it's been fine so far

Not true! I put KOOKs headers on mine with a Pypes H pipe and it fit fine.

the rousch h pipe I have is factory connect. If I get long tubes with the factory connect wouldn’t that work

I used the Easter sale and ordered an Ultra X from Beefcake for my Mach 1 with Kooks headers. I'll be replacing my Borla switchfire and routing it through the factory axle back/mufflers. That 2 1/4" reduction after the 3" collectors drives me crazy every time I'm under the car. Will keep you posted!
