I got my first mustang last year, 2015 gt premium with the performance pack. I was thinking about putting on exhaust and found out that the car has kooks exhaust installed already. Is kooks any good? Should I change it for something else?

I can’t speak on kooks exhaust because I have Corsa exhaust but I have their headers and it’s amazing. The welds are phenomenal, customer service is great, and I never have issues with their products.

I had full kooks exhaust on my 14' 5.0, was one of the best sounding 5ohs in my area. Top 3 as the man up top said. Way out of my price range now. Just look up their website to give you an idea of what they go for now.

I want to get something louder.... Some dude started a cameo at a Kroger parking lot and actually made me jump.... I was like that's what I NEED!!

Welcome to the Forum. The previous owner didn't spare any change. Good sign.

You have the hard part done. Might want to identify the rest of what you have.

Loud can be done pretty easy. Tuning it to the right sound for your personal taste is another thing.

There’s a Saleen in the garage where I live with Kooks exhaust and headers and it is LOUD. As previously said the previous owner didn’t chump on the goods.

Add long tubes to current exhaust. Unlocks hp but will also be night and day difference in volume.

if it's not loud enough for you, dumping the resonator for an x or h pipe and one of the louder axle backs should be plenty loud. assuming you still have the resonator and stock mufflers right now. i have a Roush axle back and roush X and even with OEM manifolds and cats, it is very loud.

Kooks is one of the best brands you can get. All made in the U.S.A. Amazing welds and great quality materials used. We're proud to sell their products here at www.lethalperformance.com!
