Konik / Philips LEDs

I installed them a couple of weeks ago. Look heaps better than stock.

Mate, can I ask you install questions. I've tried this morning installing the blingworks lights, fog, drl and parker. Failed on all 3... :doh:

Parker light: hard to reach and couldn't pull it out. Is there a clip or do I need to tilt or twist it, or just apply more force to pull it out?
Same problem with the DRL (bottom one, below fog light). Is there a clip or do I need to tilt or twist it, or just apply more force to pull it out. Was afraid to snap it or beak the existing lightglobe in the housing.
With the fog light, easy-AF to remove existing one, but the flat LED light is so wide, I couldn't twist it enough to get the 3 locking things to line up.

Did you come across these issues?
Any advice much appreciated.

The Parker I needed to use some long nose pliers as I couldn't get enough leverage to twist. The drl I can't really remember sorry pretty sure it was just a hard twist.

Got drl and fog lights in. These make such a huge difference, they are a MUST for everyone!
Still no luck with parker lights, can't get a good grip on them with my fingers, tried with pliers, but the ones I have are too big, there isnt much room there, need to get pliers with shorter handles.

DRL comparison.
Led is actually much brighter than it looks in the photo, that side of the car is just in a brighter spot.
Such a huge difference. Them urine-yellow lights used to annoy me, especially when stopped at the light behind another car seeing the reflection.

So far even in Europe we buy these Konik's via Australia for the DRL's! (I might have found a closer to home (for Us in EU) alternative in NL but awaiting sample)

Looks like you were right.

Just got a message from the seller stating that the Konik P13W DRL bulbs are out of stock because "one of the workshops bought the rest of our stock right before the Easter weekend".

New stock is apparently due in by the end of the week.

I note that the eBay listing remains active with no mention of this issue.

Pardon the UK intrusion but it is worth mentioning that ONLY the Konik DRL bulbs fit, many have been tried & either the base/bulb or both are wrong.
The side lights are ok, i bought some cheap from eBay.

Cost a small fortune to get those Koniks into the UK! they do look massively different though

Thanks for the insight [MENTION=8914]Big_G[/MENTION], don't you hate that importing any parts for our stangs is so bloody expensive :( Often postage would cover cost of another part!

I need to stop spending money on the car I don't even have yet...
