I note in the small print it says there is no visibility (brightness) increase. So what is the benefit of these? Just asking because I have the standard lights on mine and I noticed the other night when driving on a dark section of road that the headlights did not light up much of the road ahead.

You know you can adjust the height of the lights ??

Also my lights are extremely good lights up the whole freeway !

I guess the stock ones are pretty good, I won't change them, unless there are some huge advantage over stock ones.

The only reason I'm changing ours is because I switched all the front lights to 6000k LEDs, so the headlight colour is 'off' in comparison to the park and fog lights.

I believe the only way to increase the light output though would be modding to a B3S globe like the US which have a higher brightness (but this needs a ballast change as well I believe, they were looking at it in the Europe sub forum I believe)

Yes, to have the D3S working on your car, you need :
- new D3S ballasts
- new D3S bulbs
- new D3S alimentation cable between bulb and ballast

Also, you need to make a little modification on the bulb or on the headlight. D8S and D3S don't have the same mounting points.
I run now on my EU 'Stangs this setup and have to say that the light at night is now really amazing. The D8S are really crap on this car ...

And pay 220$ for D8S bulbs to only change the color is not a good deal for me. The amount for my D3S swap was around 400 euros (around 450 $)
