Hi Everybody,

After posting the question at the bottom of this thread earlier:

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25149&page=47

I've noticed from this thread that I may as well do the fogs as well while the front bumper is off, and the reverse lights don't look too hard either so it seems to me that it's a bit of a package deal situation.

Is this Konik/Philips/Blingworks lightshow still the #1 to get for the stang?

Cheers

Anyone know of places in Sydney who would install the FOG light & DRLS.

Don't think I trust myself installing these.

The reverse lights and Map lights seems easy.

Any reasonable auto electrician would do it with one hand tied behind his back
Let the pros do it especially if you are installing the new led in the glove box
I watched mine being done and was amazed at how they did it in such an unexpected method ( unexpected that is, to a rank novice like me)
Keep life simple!
Cheers

Took my car down to Blingworks on Saturday morning to have the full Mustang Pack installed. Took about half an hour and I was out the door again. Makes a huge difference to the look of the car, no more warm white fogs or parkers. Highly recommence Dave and his team.

Can someone please tell us if the reverse lights make a significant difference to what you can actually see whilst reversing at night?
Maybe I was spoiled in my previous vehicle but the factory reverse lights on the Mustang are terrible!

Fog lights are piece of cake. I replaced in all three of our cars in less than 5 mins.
Good luck with DRLs though, they just don't install for minutes, first car took 2 Hrs.
The bulbs from Blingworks don't seat properly and are slightly different than the factory. The location is also very awkward to reach and apply pressure.
Front side markers need nose pliers.
Everything else was easy. Glovebox one is tricky so best way is to take the whole housing out, it's easy to take out once you open the manual case in the glove box using that yellow tab.

I bought the reverse lights from DD. They make considerable difference not only to the visibility but aesthetics of the car.
You will be happy with it. We did it in all our 3 cars.

None. Make sure you can see first what you are working on, gives you good idea.
Also everything opens anticlockwise and closes clockwise.

There is actually a rear fog light as well between the reverse light, you can change this with a RED LED bulb if you like.
Best way to change is get under the car, identify the bulbs you are removing and then it's easy.
Feel free to PM if in doubt, I will send some pictures.
Cheers

I did the interior and rear lights in 5 mins, so no worries there

The fogs - did you have to jack up the front of the car? Or just stick ya hands in and have a feel?

I looked under the car and thought "fark that, i'll do those with bumper off"

Hi there,

Send me a PM if u want someone to install for u. I got mine done through a mechanic friend over at Canley Vale area. Didnt have to take the bumper off. Should be a straight forward job now that he has done mine.

You get to them via the wheel arch, park with full lock in opposite direction to the side you're working on. Take the pop fasteners out of the wheel arch tub and pull it back. Easy :)
