I'm finally getting around to upgrading the suspension and have purchased SR front and rear adjustable sway bars and Koni str.t shocks and struts. I have the OEM Ecoboost performance package springs which I believe have a different front spring rate than base. Looking for feedback from anyone with koni str.t who left the OEM/PP springs in with upgraded shocks/struts? Would upgrading the springs to a minimal drop spring of .50 to 1 inch be a big improvement over the PP springs? Any feedback is welcome.

I installed the rear Koni str.t and the ride is much improved over the stock Ecoboost PP rear shocks. The rear has also dropped about 1/4 of an inch after the install.

One interesting sidenote, I purchased a used set of base GT rear shocks for the hardware and noticed the base GT rear shocks have a thicker rod compared to the Eco PP shocks and would be a nice upgrade for any Eco.

I also used the base GT jounce bumpers because the Eco PP jounce bumpers have cracks.
