Comment like that....totally uncalled for. Jealous much?

It's a badass car. Just because he didn't do the whole build himself doesn't make it..... what you said. Who in the hell even says that anymore?

Killer car Bryn.

Thanks a lot Chris!

I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Is it weird owning a badass car that I didn't build? Eh...honestly, a little bit. But being there with Nick, the previous owner, through so much it doesn't feel far from home. That comment above is from a buddy of mine. He's just giving me a ration of shit as uncalled for as it may come off hahaha

I think its fantastic that this car was sold in its complete state, rather than being parted out and returned to stock.

I know that car put down some serious power at the last Whipple owners dyno day, and I am sure its an animal on the road!

Great to see the car is now in the hands of someone who is also active on the 6G forum...looking forward to seeing updates as you add your own touches to the build!

The 6GR's look sooo good dropped on bags!

Thanks a bunch Tim!

I am also obviously very pleased that the car was not parted out because it truly is a monster and would have been a shame to tear down such a quality build. Totally agree on the 6grs looking damn good on a bagged car! I may or may not have something new coming for Project White Label in that category :D and I've already added a few pieces to make this car my own. Updates coming soon!

Haha...Alright, I feel better now. I was thinking "what the hell?!" Looking forward to seeing what you do from here forward - not that you NEED to do anything.

:lol:Yeah it actually took me a minute to realize who it was as well since his name here has nothing to do with his real name or Instagram account. My first reaction was "what a douche" LOL

You're right, I don't NEED to do anything to this car really...well... :headbonk:

And so it begins...

Here we go. Let the modding begin!

I took delivery of Whitemare, now dubbed Project White Label, on July 1, 2017. Seemed like a good day to do so too. A lucky date...7/1/17...

It didn't take me long to dive into the car and get that King B touch on it. A proper bath and interior detail were first on the list. Once this dirty girl was all cleaned up I started adding parts. First thing was some new shoes. Many of you know this already but I am a part of the Need4Speed Motorsports team so it was only fitting that White Label rock my beloved 6grs. I opted for the satin graphite on my black 50th pony but I must say they look fantastic on oxford white as well!

Project6gr Wheels
Specs:
20x10 35mm offset
20x11 50mm offset

Tires:
Nitto NT555 275/35/20
Nitto NT555R 305/35/20

Next on the list were a couple of things that carried over from my black beauty. My custom airbrushed decklid panel from Mad Mic Custom Paint had to make it onto White Label. She already had carbon fiber taillight bezels on her and just as I had imagined, they meshed perfectly together!

The next one quickly became one of my favorite parts of the car. If anybody knows Beith Performance, they are aware that he makes the best steering wheel in the game. It's got grooves in the top for your fingers to hold, thicker areas for maximum grip at any position, a flat bottom, flawless red stitching, quality perforated leather, a custom white stripe and of course that wonderful carbon fiber!

**Fun fact: the steering wheel used in making the Beith one is actually the original stock wheel that came on my 50th Anniversary Edition Mustang**

And so it begins cont...

Back at it!

As you guys probably saw in some of the previous pics my Cervini quarter window louvres also made the transfer from my old car. I love the way these louvres match up with the Roush heat extractors and they add a nice touch of flavor to the exterior. I had a problem with them coming off before with my previous build but Cervini was quick to make it right when I contacted them and I found some valuable info on how to prevent another mishap again. Great customer service by Cervinis Auto though!

Basically the provided 3M tape isn't strong enough to secure the louvres to our windows. 6gr family member Josh, who you Instagrammers may know as @Rubyredrocket gave me the tech tip of using a bead of silicone to ensure a proper hold and I've not had issues since.

Nick had sold a couple things from Whitemare before knowing I would be purchasing it. One of the things I knew I wanted to put back on the car though was the Whipple catch can from UPR Products.

This thing is a work of art. I was very pleased with the quality of the Continental braided hose, the billet hose ends and catch cans. Install was a breeze and fitment/appearance is top notch! Best of all now no harmful oil will be getting into my intake and that glorious 2.9L twin screw supercharger :hail:

I also added a passenger side valve cover breather to help release all that pressure while still keeping my engine oil contained.

When I took over ownership the car had BOSS blue coil covers. I knew this would have to change as I am a stickler for appearance. A lot of guys with a white car have done the white/black lettering combo and as great as it looks I wanted something different that would be sleek yet still accentuate that beautiful white Whipple. I painted my coil covers flat black, a la GT350, and while I was at it also hit that awful yellow windshield washer filler cap. It really cleaned up the engine bay and now the mix of white/black/red/carbon is super duper sexy!

Next order of business: security! :ninja:

I have been pretty lucky throughout the build process of my first Mustang. No real hang ups or parts breaking. I was also surrounded by a lot of knowledgeable guys to help me along the way. Starting an Instagram account for the car definitely got me some good exposure. It helped solidify a job with the amazing team over at Need4Speed Motorsports. Another fun aspect of IG were a couple of the contest giveaways I was lucky enough to have won. One was with security cam leader Team Grdian. Grdian's Defender+ offers the best resolution video in the game, widest angle, and it's the most affordable! It mounts via suction cup or 3M tape holder to your windshield and uses an external GPS tracker to monitor location and ground speed. It also is controlled directly through your mobile device via Wifi and a downloadable app called LinkinEyes. Here's a chart to compare against some of the competition:

I haven't gotten any footage yet with White Label but once I do I will update you guys with a vid so you can see the clarity! Stay tuned!

Great job on the valve covers! Sometimes the smallest details make the biggest differences. I'm also looking forward to your Grdian footage as I was considering the Blackvue since so many IG guys swear by it.

Thanks bud I definitely agree! To be honest I am already familiar with the dash cam having had it in my black Stang for about 6 months already. The Defender+ has noticeably better video quality and the wider angle, which a lot of guys will like if they are getting this for security purposes. The main plus of the Blackvue though, and something that would push many potential consumers to buy it over the others, is the dual cam feature. They give you a front and rear camera which can be really helpful in the event of a traffic accident, vandalism or break in.

Grdian sent me an email a month ago asking if I was getting any audio interference. I was, but I thought it was just due to the exhaust in my black car being so loud. Turns out they warrantied the camera. I sent mine in and they replaced it with a brand new one. I have yet to test the new one. But hold tight. I will get some footage soon from my new Defender+

YouTube HD video upload

Little help...

Ok so in my attempt to upload dash cam footage to YouTube via my iphone I am failing miserably. The 1296p resolution that looks clear as day on my device turns out looking like 8 bit Nintendo when I upload to YT, even if I try to upload using Wifi and as a HD video :frusty:

Anybody got any suggestions?

keep it private and leave it on youtube for a couple of hours. Sometimes they'll post the low res versions while they decode and compress the higher res versions. check back later and it might get better.

Thanks Rob! I'll give it some private time(LOL) and see if the quality improves
