I don't understand why people think the fob is too big. Where are you putting it where it's a problem?

anyway
phone in one front pocket. Wallet and keys in the other other. I manage fine, but certainly have no desire to add any additional bulk.

Whether you find it too big or not, the mustang fob is a big one compared to other fobs I've had. Much fatter than the one for our edge and is a fair bit larger overall than the fob was for my 135i.

+1. The factory fob is already too big.
+2. It took me a while getting used to a key fob that didn't hang from the ignition that I always knew where it was in the car. With this new one I tried different places, like the drink holder, or the little tray under the toggles, but ended up with it in my front pocket with no keys on it at all.

+1

I can't stand extra bulk either. I don't think the fob is too big or anything, but I only have my apartment key and gym card attached to it out of necessity. If I didn't live in an apartment, I would definitely get a keyless lock for my front door and only have my gym card attached.

I love cool keychains but I'm a bit too neurotic to let myself have one haha.

Isn't that 5.0 keychain replicating the 14 and older 5.0 badge?
I think you might be right. I looks like the older badging.

I like that one...haven't got one yet.
Here's the link to it: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chrome-Fini...ash=item1eab04d8e1:g:MfAAAOSwpzdWsUdJ&vxp=mtr

I have one of these. Official Ford accessory made out of nice dense metal.
Nice!

Using this at the moment. Also have one of those 5.0 ones from eBay - the quality is quite good.
That's a classic!

The Mustang fob is the same size and shape as the fob for our 2016 Explorer Sport. I have wasted time trying to do "remote window down" with no success only to find out I have the wrong fob.
