To me the material of the yellow filter is different than the blue one. It fills like dry, thin paper. My guess is that the blue one traps more dust.

It’s been a while so I figure I update what I done so far. Currently sitting at 2100 miles on the odometer. Change the oil at 700 miles. Getting ready to change it again once my UPR drain plug comes in. The list: Steeda clutch spring. Redline hood struts. LED interior lights and backup. WeatherTech floor liners. Fixed the single horn, JLT3.0 catch can. Ford Performance blue air filter. GT350 gauge pack. The price on the GT350 steering wheel have sky rocketed so I have not been able to find one at a decent price. I should have gotten one when they where in the $300 range.! When this winter/rain season passes I'll get a full detailing job done. I will update with pics then.

@el-guapin, I enjoy reading your journey here. Unfortunately my Bullitt is now a daily driver and just turned 1800 miles this morning on my way to work. I had 900, back in January when I first changed my oil at the 1 year mark. I too prefer the 5w-30 weight. Enjoy your ride!

Ceratec? Must be good. Made in Germany. From reading they say optimal dosage is 6% of oil capacity. You would need two 300 ml bottles. Why did you change to a higher viscosity? Engine tic? Does the Ceratec work for this?

I changed to 5w-30 for fear of developing the tick. Luckily, I did not get the tick nor the rattle. But decided to add ceratec for extra insurance. Main reason why I only added one bottle instead of two.
