If the PP has it, it's for a reason. It also has easier access for oil changes.

The combination of parts runs $70-80 from Tasca, Levittown, and AN Whitebearlake.

And for the aftermarket brace, 2 v 4 comes down to if you have anything that would block the 4 point. I think the 4 point braces might add more rigidity than the factory brace does because they're connecting more.

I was planning to go the Steeda K member route myself, so I'm interested in opinions as well.

I have the 2 point Steeda front brace. Well worth the $80 and the little bit of time it takes to install. I'm debating on the PP lower brace. Just finished the full metal K brace and cowl extension.

The 2 and 4 point braces from BMR and Steeda perform a different albeit related function to the PP lower brace. As stated, they are there because they make a noticeable improvement. On a cost conscious car something like that would be gone if it were not significant.

Thanks. Both it is. I’m going to go with the Steeda 4 point. From the reading I’ve done, it should fit. No headers so I should be good to go.

Just ordered the lower from Tasca.

Once again, great choice & you will be very pleased with the Steeda 4-point brace.

We look forward to your feedback & review!

So I ended up ordering an "Extreme G-Trac Brace" by Steeda stocked by Amazon; Who knew Amazon stocked Steeda parts themselves? Anyway, on a whim last night, I decided to check Amazon, and sure enough they had one in their "Warehouse" with a damaged box for $100 and then I get 5% off that for using the Amazon card. It should arrive Thursday using Prime. So, it's worth a shot. If it's damaged, no harm, no foul I'll send it back, get a refund and order from Steeda directly. If it's perfect, except for the box, then it was a bargain.

That is a very solid find, nice. Most car parts I get with damaged boxes usually just have cosmetic scuffs/scratches if anything and can't beat saving 40%.

That was my thinking as well. I'll let you know on Thursday when it arrives!

I use the 2-point... but I also have whatever the PP car has up top and bottom.

I used the 2-point brace and tracked my car often - all that's remotely necessary.
