So, as some of you will be aware, I was at ModUrStang yesterday for the first mods to my GT.

First of all - a BIG THANKS to Mike and Lee at ModUrStang - thanks for the fantastic welcome and work guys! Four hours straight saw the following mods installed - with no dramas and only minor fettling for the gas struts.

....And yes, I know the car needs a wash (again)....

Roush Air Box - a straight replacement for the Ford OEM box:

1) parts laid out...

2) Out with the Old....

3) In with the New.....

4) All Done :D

Red Line Struts

1) Preparation

2) Installed

JLT Oil Separator:

Installed!

Rear Deck Lid:

1) GT badge deck removed

2) WIP

3) Done

Borla Exhaust:

1) As Was

2) Removed (very heavy… apparently)

3) New kit laid out

4) It goes here….

5) Oh Yes :headbang:

6) New look Rear

The new exhaust simply sounds amazing and is considerably lighter than the OEM installation!

With the Roush Air Intake sucking in more air (and you can really hear it suck!) the overall effect is a noticeable performance improvement in the car – and it has much more “presence” :D

Now thinking on what next…..

nice
did u keep old exhaust ?
I discussed this with Mike at the garage.

As the old exhaust is one piece (!) it is hard to transport - Mike has offered that he is probably going to have at least 1 of these available in the future and thus I can leave mine there.

At present he has mine and 1 other....

I am thinking on whether to have the old one transported somehow to my home; not sure. I can see that if and when I sell the mustang, someone may (if they are crazy) want the old exhaust. For me, it's just scrap though.

hmmm. still thinking on it.

Roush Air Intake

Hi Jury

Nice upgrades, can I ask you if your Roush Air Intake had to be re-mapped or any modifications from stock. Did you order from the USA or home grown. Any updates on RHD strut braces.

we was all waiting for centurion's car to turn up so we could hear his exhaust.
Next meet we all going to be waiting for a stock exhaust to turn up so we can remember what ours sounded like :)

I have a roush aitbox on way from USA
If u use the 85mm insert u don't need a tune.
But if u remove it, so u have the 105mm. Then u need a tune.
