I'd be all over this but you're just asking for an annoying squeak coming from somewhere in the dash or glove box area. Not sure that's worth it for me.

No squeaks or rattles from this install, all panels are well secured. I was worried about the same thing

I went with the Joleobee magnetic and glad I did. No squeeks at all. So far the a/c has been fine, but only got up to the low 80's here. If I ever feel like I need more air I can just pull it right out and either let it hang or unplug it completely and get full air flow from the vent.

Today I drilled some holes in the mount to get some airflow on the door side, just getting ready for South Florida summer
