Sorry to hear, but the good news is that the wing will be there with time to spare I bet.

Going to be a long WINTER!!
Yes indeed, but I am happy to have had some work done. It means this is actually gonna happen now

All good buddy, but I can't say I feel the same. I'm betting I wont see the wing until the fall. All good though, at least I will have a spare trunk lid to wax over and over until it gets here

At least there's progress!šŸ‘

Yep, this. Very much this.

Id ask them to at least put some plastic over the engine bay, that will collect a lot of dust and dirt over time.

And nothing infiltrates every nook and cranny like body shop dust.

When my car was in the shop for the first half shaft replacement, the tech left my hood open while it was on the lift for a few weeks. The engine bay was filthy.

That was the only reason I said something.

I appreciate you guys looking out. Your good intentions are appreciated.

Iā€™m not going to let it bother me, otherwise Iā€™d loose sleep over it. I donā€™t wanna be ā€œthat guyā€ and hover over every step of the way. I trust them, and I am sure they know what they are doing. I am also sure that they will provide me with a showroom clean car when I take delivery.

Not gonna lie, even if they put it in a positive atmosphere bubble, I will still be wanting to detail it myself, lol.

Well, April 24 is the date for my "First 15" event. I will be blousing for airline tickets and accommodation this evening :sunglasses:

My car more than likely will not be ready by then, but I plan to visit her none the less.
