My plate showed up today. Time to take the paper one out of the window. It'll look better with the 50 years frame than paper but still. It's not so new anymore.

Wait

It still smells that way.

At least now people won't think I'm showing off my new car when I park out all alone. They'll think I'm just anal. They'll be correct then.

The amount of times I've been sitting in a vehicle to have a door slammed into me...and not gone to jail can't blame anyone. I have had people do it and look at me like I'm a dick, well that part is true but people don't even apologize anymore, should be a defense.

I called the human resources manager of a company whose driver dinged my exes brand new car once. I got all kinds of apologies. Then I got a call from the guy that did it. Then I called her back and let her know that the fact that she made him do it pissed me off. His time had passed when he did it and looked at the ex like she was stupid. They bent over backwards to make it right.

My 11, the first night I drove it to work someone door dinged it right in the body crease around rear wheel. It was less than 36 hours old. And I had parked out away from the building on an end spot and over the end line. Someone still did it.

I won a reserved spot for November. On an end. My last day is tomorrow. I'll have to strategically hunt for spots again. We don't have enough spots so sometimes an end spot isn't an option. Thankfully, dings haven't happened often in my almost 19 years there.

Well, my 2.5 year old daughter decided to throw a rock into our garage earlier, hitting the front facia. So, my car got the first chips today. Fortunately it is very hard to pick up where the rock hit the facia. Some touch up paint was ordered today, which should take care of the issue.

I raised my kids to personify Mustangs, and treat them like they do people. not that i am comparing Mustangs to people, Mustangs are often smarter and more polite.

what this did accomplish was that they did not throw things at her, they never lacked for caution around any of my cars.

one of the great lies we ingrain in our children's heads to bend them to our will. parenthood is such great fun! :)
