It’s official, I have an R on the way!

It's a shame visiting the plant to see your car being built isn't just part of the deal; at least for an R. I saw an episode of "How it's Made: Dream Cars" one time and I'm pretty sure all ZO6 owners are afforded the opportunity to visit their car and hang out while the engine is built, or something to that effect.

For $990, a Corvette buyer can take delivery at the Museum:

Before they closed the plant to the public, they could also get a plant tour that day. But seeing your car built was not an option.

Yea, work has been very busy. I haven’t had allot of time lately at all. Everything is going great and I’m just as happy as could be with it all.

I would say it’s still “unofficial” because Ford hasn’t released their numbers. That being said I have been told by a few people, some who work in the plant and a rep, that it is the last one to come down the line. Only Fords officially released numbers will tell for sure.

Of course it’s unofficial as numbers will be released next year, but still the information that you have been told by reps does help put a approximation if the end of the JR MY18 line.

The official production numbers for the 2018MY are being worked on as we speak therefore suggest that with a little luck we may have access to all GT350/R production numbers sometime prior to the end of the 2018 calendar year.
