Is this timing chain wear normal?

I guess it's the pits on chain that I was concerned about, but reading these responses is a little relieving, although I had the wife right where I want her for my opg/ CG damper fund.

As asked/noted earlier, did you actually try wipe the chain down with your finger? Hard to tell of those are pits or just globules of oil. To me it mostly looks like oil with a few spots where there might be some wear (but not pits).

Not sure if chain is cast? or forged/stamped/parted from rolled bar?
