In the latest Road & Track the GT PP only managed 4.7 seconds 0-60... and 109 in the quarter mile, WTF? Or is it because the test was about the new Camaro SS and GM is paying the bills?

Fact - 2016 Camaro is faster, especially the 8-speed auto. Are the 2016's slower, no, but they take a little more effort and better experienced driver to get the best times.

Doesn't the new camaro require more cubic inches and less weight to beat the Mustang GT ??

Smh. Does it really matter if you don't race? Street racing doesn't count, take it to the track and see who's really faster.

You should use the app built into your car & run some 0-60 to see what your car runs ( on a level road of course). My 2013 GT only does 0-60 in 4.7sec. I have gotten 4.5sec twice. So many variables can effect the 0-60 time.

who cares....news flash, mustangs aren't fast.
Never thought I would ever hear someone say a 4 second car wasn't fast, that has to be from a perspective of a <18 year old.

Much less one that can be had a $30K...

Go figure...

If you're really that butt hurt about the Camaro's performance numbers, I suggest (in all seriousness) going down to your local GM dealership and trading in your Mustang for an SS - you'll get the faster car out of the box.

(.....and you'll get one of the ugliest sports cars available today...can anyone name any two door coupe more esthetically pleasing than the Camaro?...Subaru BRZ, Toyota FRS, any MINI, Honda Accord, Hyundai Genesis, Challenger, Nissan 370Z, Audi TT, BMW 2/4 Series, Lexus RC, Cayman, C7, Cadillac ELR...just off the top off my head and I'm betting literally any 2016 2 door coupe is better looking...of course IMHO)
