Congrats on the 18. When I was still working at the dealer I really had to weigh waiting for the 18s versus getting a 17. I chose the 17 mainly because of the front bumper, great incentives and me being impatient. The digital cluster was one thing I really liked on the 18s, have that now. Looking at the PP2 options, really liking the wheel and tire combo. I’m almost thinking now that I’d rather have the 10 speed auto instead of the MT82 though. Remember when getting a GT with an auto was frowned upon? Now they perform better than the sticks.

When did you order it? I was bored the other night and built one the way I would want it on Fords site... 51k plus. Oyyy. I thought spending 45k was bad on mine. Especially considering the trade in value is under 30k already.

11/22. Allegedly it's somewhere between Flat Rock and Cali, but no one is exactly sure where. My EDD was today, but now gone and no update.

It's pricy, but I'm sure totally worth it.

To be honest I’m surprised they didn't offer the A10 in both PP packages considering it makes the car quicker than the MT82.

I’m sorry but if UPS can have GPS tracking in their trucks so you can see exactly where your package is, you’d figure car manufacturers could do the same when you’re spending that kind of money.

Agreed. The reason why the price shot up is because half the time when you select an option it makes you pick another one with it. When the build your car first came out for the 18s, before you could even order them, I built the same car or very similar and it was only around 48k. Back then it gave you the option of just ordering the car with the digital dash for example without the accompanying packages it now lives with. Back then it might have just been not how Ford intended to offer everything but it would be nice if you were given more freedom. To be fair, I don’t think the PP2 was even listed at the time either, which is pretty costly.

I still woulda ordered mine full tilt, but I agree. If someone wants an a10 in their PP2, why not?

What color did you end up going with? In regard to the A10 I’m currently investigating the feasibility of doing a swap if it’s possible. Funny how things change, the first major work I did on my 95 was swapping OUT the AODE for a T5.... damn you changes!
